Does the Qelthorn QT-4 work with hard water above 300 mg/L?
Yes for scale reduction on fixtures, but capacity falls faster. Plan more frequent cartridge changes in very hard areas such as parts of the South East.
Is salt required?
No household salt top-up. The cartridge contains pre-charged resin and is replaced whole when spent.
Can I drink the softened water?
